The terms, in plain English.

Short version: it’s free, it’s yours, I may talk about it publicly, and it’s a first version, not a launched product.

What you're getting

A free, working first version of your idea: a web app with sign-up, saved data, and its main feature, sent to you as a link. It's a prototype for showing people and reacting to. It is not a finished product, and it isn't built to hold real customers' data safely yet.

No guarantee I'll build it

I read every idea, but I can't build all of them. If I pick yours, I aim to send a link within 7 days. If I can't build it, I'll tell you.

You own it

The idea is yours and the app I build from it is yours. If you want the project moved into your own account so you can keep editing it, ask and I'll hand it over.

What I ask in return

By sending your idea you agree that I can share screenshots and recordings of the prototype, describe the idea, and talk about building it, publicly, on social media and in my portfolio. I won't share your email address or anything you tell me privately by email. If you'd rather I not use your name or handle, say so and I won't.

Voice notes stay private

If you explain your idea in a voice note, only I listen to it. I use it to understand what to build, I never post or share your voice, and I'll delete it whenever you ask.

It isn't confidential

Please don't send anything secret. Nothing you submit is covered by an NDA. Similar ideas come in often, and I build each one from what you send me. If your idea needs protection, this isn't the right fit.

How long it stays up

I keep your prototype live in my workspace for at least 60 days. After that I may take it down unless you've asked me to hand it over.

As-is

The prototype is free and provided as-is, with no warranty. Don't launch it to real users or put real customer data in it before it's been properly built out. I'm not responsible for what happens if you do.

No obligation

You never have to pay me anything. If you want to go further, there's an optional $300 scope session, and anything beyond that we agree in writing first.
